The 7th day of the tourney was marked by a historic alliance, with Kilroy's team and Blitz's team forming an alliance to take down PhirePhly's team. First, though, was the Legion's strike. We hit Kilroy's team very hard, destroying must of their planets. At this point, they begged Blitz's help, and he came in to the fight.
I'll start by saying, yes, I lost my ship, and yes it was mostly my fault. However, there was some error on the part of the PC I was using. It has an old version of Firefox, and what I normally due, keep lots of tabs at the top, cylce through them in proper orders and F5 to refresh for specific results, does not work. It doesn't work, because the older version of Firefox does not supprt F5 refreshes, instead, it requires a Ctrl + R or something. I did become aware of this while playing but I kept forgetting, and many times found myself without what I had planned on doing (Not changing sectors when I should, not refilling, etc). Once Blitz came into the fight, I should have been a little more cautious, but I had a chance to come up and nail him in the back. However, my planetary refresh of Energy, Fighters, and Torpedoes did not work. I ended up sitting in Sol, due to attacking his ship w/o energy.
Oh well, day 7 was a fairly bad day for us overall, we dropped 400k points total after hitting the planets and losing my ship. At that point we had 33m score, versus 17.1m and 14.1m, as Kilroy's team had lost twice as much, with 800k score lost due to the attacks.
